Man vs Man Conflict

The movie "Never Back Down" contains Man vs. Man conflict between the main characters Jake Tyler and and Ryan. It all starts when Jake Tyler has to move because his little brother gets into a prestigious tennis school and because he gets into a fight at his old school during a football game. When everyone at Jake's new school learns of this fight and watches it the "Tough Guy" of the school Ryan has Jake lured to a party where the rivalry between the two starts. The battle between them ends at a huge secret fight contest. I believe this movie shows a great example of Man vs. Man Conflict.

    This theme has been consistent in film, probably since film was invented. Conflicts between individuals culminating in a battle -- a catharsis -- Movies package it up nice - too bad, real life is more complicated.
